It is a cost-effective and efficient method used in various printing processes, including DTF transfers. The purpose of a gang sheet is to maximize material usage and streamline production by allowing multiple designs to be printed simultaneously on a single sheet.
How to Create a Gang Sheet for DTF Printing
Creating a DTF gang sheet is a friendly and really easy process. Usually, our customers create their gang sheets using Canva, which is a really friendly and common program, here are the general steps for creating it:
- Create a Document: Your document must always be 22 inches wide and the length will depend on the size of gang sheet you purchased.
- Enter your Designs: Upload your designs or if you prefer to use pre made ones, just look for them on “Elements” section.
- Spread your Designs: Spread all of your designs on the gang sheet!
- Download: Once your gang sheet is ready, please download it following our artwork specifications and email it to us!

Tips for Designing an Effective Gang Sheet
There are a lot of good tips to help you create your gang sheet, we have prepared some of them that we think will help you:
- Maximize the space between your designs: Make sure to leave at least 0.25 inches between all of your designs, that way your designs don’t get overlapped and you have space to cut your designs.
- Leave a small margin: Leave a small margin of at least 0.25 on the edges, failing to do that may lead to your designs get cut off.
- Resolution: Resolution is one of the most important part of your optimal gang sheet, even though this point is on our artwork requirements, it is always good to remember that the resolution must always be at 300 dpi.
- High-Quality Images: It is important to know that downloading your gang sheet at 300 dpi does not grant the quality if low-quality images were inserted on the gang sheet. So, make sure your images are also at 300 dpi when interesting them.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Creating a Gang Sheet
