What is DTF (direct-to-film) printing?

DTF printing puts your design on a film, coats it with adhesive powder, and heat-presses it onto fabric. You get vibrant, full-color prints that hold up on almost any material, including cotton, polyester, and blends, with no minimum order.

What lasts longer, DTF or sublimation?

Both last a long time, but they work differently. Sublimation only works on light polyester and dyes the fabric. DTF bonds a printed layer that works on almost any color and material, including cotton. Pressed right, DTF holds up to repeated washing without cracking or fading.

What is a DTF gang sheet?

A gang sheet is one print-ready film with multiple designs on it, which drops your cost per print. It's the most economical option for mixed or small-batch orders, and our free gang sheet builder lays it out for you.

Are your inks safe and your colors consistent?

Yes. Our inks, powder, and film are all OEKO-TEX® certified, tested safe against skin, including kids' apparel. We build our own ICC profiles in-house and calibrate to G7 standards, so color stays consistent order to order. Screens never match print exactly, so ask for our color chart for exact shades.

Are DTF transfers durable, and how do I care for them?

Pressed right, DTF holds up to repeated washing without fading, cracking, or peeling. Wait 24 hours before the first wash, then wash inside-out in cold water and tumble dry low or air dry. Skip ironing directly over the design.

What file types do you accept and can you help with design?

Send a high-resolution PNG at 300 DPI, or vector AI or PDF for the cleanest prints. Not sure? Our in-house team does free file checks and design help. Just send us your idea.

How do I apply a DTF transfer?

Use a heat press at 320°F (160°C), apply firm even pressure for 10 to 15 seconds, and peel the film hot. We also press for you or sell blanks if you'd rather we handle it.
