What same-day actually means here

Plenty of shops say same-day and mean same-day shipping, which is a different promise: your file might have been printed yesterday, or it might get printed tomorrow and shipped fast. Here it means the press. Your file goes into today's run and your sheet is printed today.

The cutoff is 12 PM ET, Monday to Friday. That is not a marketing number, it is how long it takes to rip the file, print it, cure it, cut it and have it packed before the last carrier pickup. After 12 PM ET the run is closed and your order goes into tomorrow's.

The difference nobody explains

Same-day printing is not the same as same-day shipping

These two phrases get used as if they were one thing, and they are the reason people end up disappointed. Here is the plain version.

Same-day printing

Your file is printed on the same business day you order it. That is what this product is. It is a production promise: your artwork enters today's press run instead of tomorrow's. Whether the sheet then travels overnight or over four days is a separate choice you make at checkout.

Same-day shipping

The package leaves the building today. It says nothing about when the sheet was printed. A shop holding pre-printed stock can ship same-day without printing anything, and a shop that printed your file three days ago can too. Useful, but it is not the same promise.

If you need the sheet in your hands tomorrow, you need both: printed today and a next-day shipping service selected at checkout. If you are picking up in Kendall, printed today is all you need: we email you the moment your sheet is printed, and the pickup box is open 24 hours a day.

How to make a same-day order actually land today

Most same-day orders that slip do it for one of three reasons, and all three are fixable before you click.

Send a press-ready file

PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, built 22 inches wide. A file that needs a question answered goes to the back of the queue, because the run does not wait. If you are not sure, add Print Assist and we look at it first.

Order well before noon

Order in the morning and you leave room to fix something if we spot it. An order that lands at 11:58 still counts, but there is no slack left in it.

Pick the shipping to match

Printed today does not mean delivered tomorrow unless you choose a service that does that. If it has to arrive tomorrow, select next day at checkout. If you are local, pick it up in Kendall from the 24/7 box and skip the question.

What is the cutoff for same-day DTF printing?

Is same-day DTF printing the same as same-day shipping?
No, and the difference matters. Same-day printing means your file goes on the press today. Same-day shipping means a package leaves the building today, which can be true of a sheet printed days earlier. This product is a printing promise. If you also need it delivered tomorrow, choose a next day shipping service at checkout.
How much do same-day DTF transfers cost?
$0.50 per linear inch at 22 inches wide, which is $6.00 per linear foot. A one foot sheet is $6.00 and a 10 foot sheet is $60.00. There is no separate rush fee added on top, no setup fee and no minimum order.
What happens if I order after 12 PM ET?
Your sheet is printed the next business day rather than today. Nothing is lost and nothing extra is charged, it simply moves into the next run. If you need it today and you have missed the cutoff, call the shop and we will tell you whether it can still be done today.
When exactly is my sheet ready, and how do I pick it up?
We do not give an hour, we give you a notification: you get an email the moment your sheet is printed and ready. Depending on how the day runs it can be early afternoon or closer to closing, and we would rather tell you the truth than a time we might miss. Our pickup box in Kendall is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you are never tied to shop hours. Choose local pickup at checkout and tell us there if you want your order left in the box.
Is there a minimum order for same-day?
No. Same-day sheets start at 12 inches, which is one foot and $6.00, and run up to 1,200 inches per order. There is no dollar minimum and no setup fee.
Can I get a volume discount on a same-day order?
No. Volume discounts and coupon codes apply to standard and wholesale orders, not to same-day. If you are ordering 50 feet or more and can wait one business day, our wholesale product is built for that kind of volume.
